Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Ranah Komunikasi (JRK) will first undergo an Initial Review process conducted by the Editorial Board. After passing the initial screening, the manuscript will be assigned to two or more peer reviewers through a blind peer-review process.

The reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on its substantial and technical aspects, including originality, relevance, methodology, academic contribution, and writing quality. The peer reviewers collaborating with Jurnal Ranah Komunikasi (JRK) are experts in communication studies and related fields.

Following the review process, the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for revision based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. The entire review and revision process may take up to three (3) months, depending on the quality of revisions and the review stages.

JRK DOES NOT PROVIDE FAST-TRACK PUBLICATION. All submitted manuscripts are processed through the same review procedure fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and academic standards.
